Safety performance is measured by both lead and lag indicators. Inspections, hazard reports, corrective action closures are some of the lead indicators measured; injury frequency rates are some of the lag indicators. By focusing on lead or positive indicators, the frequency of lag indicators diminishes.
We instill the values of being your brother’s or sister’s keeper, halting any unsafe work practices and actively encourage reporting of hazards.
